Chasing The Last Glimpse of Light, a solo show by Scott Belcastro

Chasing the Last Glimpse of Light
December 12th, 2009

He has done it again! Scott Belcastro has produced another beautiful and outstanding solo show. Opening on December 12th, at Lebasse Gallery in Culver City, CA.
Titled "Chasing The Last Glimpse Of Light" Scott Belcastro shows us a softer side and his boldness to experiment with a pastel colour pallet. Peaches, limes, and lemon yellows beautifully used to create perfectly blended sky's and contrast from the use of darker colors like black and deep sea blue. This new technique he has been experimenting with of splattering the paint across the tops of hills to produce intense flower fields or snow covered mountains is a breakthrough from Scott's traditional detailed and chiseled landscapes. And a technique that I personally have fallen in love with. When you have the opportunity to see his work in person, you must. "Belcastro's paintings are a collection of thoughts on existentialism, meditation, religion, prayer, isolation, sin and forgiveness."

Chasing The Last Glimpse Of Light is Scott Belcastro's first solo show at LeBasse Gallery and in the U.S. This exhibitions is an important show for his growing career as an artist and is one you must not miss, so please for all our sake, get down there on the 12th of December and go tell Scott just how brilliant he is!
