That's right, Scott C. is coming back to London. And Im so very very excited about his new solo show, Everybody, All the Time at London Miles Gallery. Featuring all new work from the fantastic super funny Scott C. He will be exhibiting 100 pieces of art for this show! Thats right, 100!!
The show features a wide collection of Scott's favorite characters, like his famous mummy, or his traveling skeletons, his English gentleman, and his minotaurs. The show is an all around celebrations of his mischievous and curious imagination.
Through a multitude of storyboards and illustrated narratives, Campbell renders his escapist daydreams in the form of often-humorous and light-hearted scenarios featuring intriguing and otherworldly creatures. With one of the Comic Art scene’s leading lights presenting an entirely new body of work, ‘Everybody, all the time’ promises to be an exhibition of high entertainment for Comic Book aficionados, followers, and fans of Pop Surrealism alike.
The Exhibition opens on March 4th, 2010 at 6pm in London Miles pop up location in East London. Located at 47 Mowlem street. Off Vyner street.
On Saturday at 12:30 and 4:00pm Scott C. will also be hosting his first ever Comic Workshop! Tickets are £15/ £12 students.
The workshop will be for around 1.5- 2 hours of pure fun while Scott teaches you some of his comic secrets. You can get your place reserved by Emailing: INFO@LONDONMILES.COM

Hunt and Gather, Discovering New Art! Its arrived!
Hunt and Gather, Discovering New Art.
The artbook I have been working on for over three years arrived on my desk this week. I must admit it was quite an emotional moment for me to finally have this completed project in my hands. Its been one very long and hard journey. This book is not only a book full of beautiful works of art and talented people, but its full of a story...not written in words, but a visual story about the last few years of my life..about this blog you are now on, and about the people that I have met along the way.
The cover is beautiful, the white band that you can see in the picture slips over the book, leaving the actual cover just pure images of various works of art found within the books covers. I created this book with one goal, to meet great artists and to share my findings with the community. Each one of the artists featured in this publication I have grown to know on a more personal level, and I can honestly say they are all very special, inspiring and dedicated individuals that I feel honored to have met and even more honored that they contributed and supported a book I created.
I hope that you find this publication to be of use, in the sense, I hope it inspires you. I hope you discover new artists and new works of art that really make you feel something..anything, as long as you feel.I will be having a book launch and celebration exhibition in Los Angeles on April 9th, at Thinkspace Gallery. On the following Saturday, there will be a signing event where a large group of the artists featured in H&G will be signing copies.
Thank you all very much for the constant support you have shown for Hunt and Gather! I hope to see you at the launch event.
If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to contact me.
